Image Compressor

Questions about image size

How do I make an image smaller?

"Smaller" can mean two things. To cut the file size (KB or MB), lower the quality slider above; photos usually drop well under 1 MB at 70 to 85% quality. To change the dimensions in pixels, for example 4032 × 3024 down to 1280 × 960, use the Image Resizer instead. The compressor also has an optional resize step in its settings.
